Jim Ford, AARS Treasurer

James M. Ford is President of High Green Consulting, Inc. He consults in the rail industry on various operational and Safety issues most recently was on the team that performed the independent safety audit of the New Jersey Transit Commuter rail system. Previously work includes operational assessments and safety audits for freight railroads.

Before starting High Green Mr. Ford worked for the Belt Railway Company of Chicago (BRC) retiring as Superintendent-CTCO after stints as Manager of Terminal Operations and Manager of Rules and Operating Practices. Prior to the BRC he worked for the Wisconsin Central and the Chicago and Northwestern railroads in various operating management positions.

Mr. Ford attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point.
